I’ve been wanting to try insomnia cookies for a while now and finally got my chance when I stumbled upon one of their locations in New Haven, CT. I went for the 6-pack sampler, so I could get a good sense of all their flavors. I picked chocolate chunk, macadamianut, sugar, mint chocolate, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter chip.
I like a nice warm soft cookie, so these hit the mark. The chocolate chunk was my favorite, it had the perfect balance of chocolate. While not my favorite cookie in the world, I would (and will) be back. While I didn’t partake, they also had ice cream and brownies. Most of their locations stay open to 2 AM or 3 AM to cater to the late-night crowd and they also have a cookie subscription service where you can get a cookie a day for $10 a month! These guys take cookie cravings seriously.
