Appreciating the fact there are other factors here (I grew up with awful acne, which went away for me in adulthood), now – what I eat impacts my skin. When I am eating lots of sugar and processed food, I have really bad breakouts. When I am eating a health-focused diet (I try and follow the 85/15 rule–to allow some level of indulgence), my skin is clear. Another reason for me to prioritize healthy and nutritionally positive foods!
