Italian Dinner at Luna Azzurra in Fairfield, CT

This is our local go-to Italian restaurant. My dinner of choice includes their escarole white bean soup, the beet salad (with goat cheese, candied walnuts, onions orange balsamic vinaigrette), a side of fresh broccoli, pappardelle (with sauteed wild mushrooms, rosemary, shallots, and finished with an asiago cheese and white truffle oil) and finishing it off with their ricotta cheesecake. Their food never disappoints. I absolutely love this pasta dish, it is a perfect dinner– delicious and just the perfect combination of flavors (which by default is meant to include sausage).
